Jerome Love
President, Texas Black Expo
Jerome Love is the founder and President of the Texas Black Expo, Inc., producers of the nationally-recognized Texas Black Expo Summer Celebration, which is the largest African American tradeshow in the state of Texas. He earned a B.S. in corporate communications with a minor in business from The University of Texas at Austin. During his tenure at the University of Texas, Love had a brief stint in corporate America, which motivated his entrepreneurial ambitions.
Shannon Cormier, Ph.D.
Executive Vice President & Expo Director, Texas Black Expo
Dr. Shannon Cormier is the co-founder and Vice President of the Texas Black Expo. A native Houstonian and an entrepreneurial and economic development specialist, she earned her Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin. Her research concentration focuses upon the development of micro-enterprise in minority communities and the socioeconomic transformation of underprivileged emerging markets through the wealth-creating activity of business enterprise.
