"BIG Opportunities for SMALL Businesses: Little-Known Economic Empowerment Initiatives for Houston Entrepreneurs"

Houston’s number one networking luncheon, the Texas Black Expo Lunch & Learn, presents its first seminar of 2012 on Monday, February 6th at 11:30 am.  The February seminar is entitled “BIG Opportunities for SMALL Businesses: Little-Known Economic Empowerment Initiatives for Houston Small Entrepreneurs” and will feature presenters from the National Black MBA Association’s Houston Chapter and DRF Industries.

According to the SBA, over 50% of small businesses fail in the first five years. After a lack of experience, the second biggest factor that contributes to failure is lack of access to or knowledge of resources!

The point: If your business is not aware of what resources are available, you are in jeopardy of being a STATISTIC!

There are a number of programs, initiatives, and resources that have been earmarked for small businesses, and every entrepreneur should at least be aware of them. By keeping you informed, the Texas Black Expo and the Houston Citizens Chamber of Commerce want to ensure that we do our part to prepare you to be a success in business.

Come out on Monday, February 6th to hear from experts who will share about what initiatives and approaches are available to help you gain access to needed resources for your business.

Eric Lyons, President & CEO of the Houston Citizens Chamber of Commerce & Mathis Conner, Co-chair of the Economic Development Committee for the NBMBAA Houston Chapter will share information regarding their Economic Empowerment Initiative and the benefits to business owners.

Robert Ford and Darrell Ford from DRF Industries will share information regarding going green and implications for small businesses.

Increase your chances of being a success in business by reserving your space at the TBE Lunch & Learn today!

Attendees at the Lunch & Learn will learn:

  • What special programs and initiatives are available for your business
  • How to access monies that have been earmarked for entrepreneurs
  • How your business can cash-in by going green
  • Plus much more!

If you are serious about having a successful business, you definitely want to be at the Power Center located at 12401 South Post Oak, February 6th at 11:30 am for this dynamic presentation.
